Chapter 7

The Gathering of Evidence

The old guy was spewing out so much information that the investigator forgot to turn his tape recorder on that he had hidden underneath his jacket. So, the investigator excused himself by telling the old guy that he had to go to the men’s room so that he could adjust his tape recorder in his jacket.

When The investigator came back to the spot where they were talking the old guy was gone! The investigator could not believe he blew another opportunity to get the full evidence so that they could close this cold case.

The investigator was embarrassed and disappointed and had to tell the other investigators that he did not get the information they were so looking forward to getting because by this time everyone was ready to go back to Everland.
